Glock 42 vs 43

The Glock 42 was introduced with much disappointment from many Glock users. When the 42 was introduced, it was on the heels of the Smith and Wesson Shield and fans were hoping for the gun that the Glock 43 eventually became. They wanted a 9mm micro-Glock, and the  just didn’t deliver due to its .380 caliber. The Glock 42 had a lot of advantages and they were smart to introduce the 42 before the 43 because the Glock 42 would not have been the commercial success it was if it had been introduced afterward. By introducing the Glock 42 first, Glock was able to get the 42 in a lot of people’s hands who would have otherwise not given the gun a second look. By doing that, people were able to discover the gun’s true selling points. Related product

Glock 42 Simple operation

Glock 42 operates like a real gun which is to say—you can dry fire it. It has a slide lock lever and goes to slide-lock on an empty mag. The G42 has an adjustable rear sight and, as stated above, has a 5.5-pound trigger with a decent reset.

Stacked onto the simplicity factor is the absence of safety levers that require a conscious operation. Furthermore, mechanical measures do not supplant responsibility for safe gun handling and storage!

It’s a significant advantage to dry fire the gun you conceal without fussing around with fake magazines or other features that, like a heavy, long trigger, imply distrust or stupidity on the part of the operator. One essential way to become more competent is to dry fire. The many .380s on the market that don’t permit this hinder their owner’s practice.
